Latest User Reviews:great joystick toolgreat tool for getting your joystick to control thoose games that only have keys. It Works WellThis application works. The only thing I would have it do in addition to what it does already is to handle the analog aspects of a control. I have a Nostromo game pad with a scrollwheel type control (it's the Z-axis). It actually has a range of motion from top to bottom, not just the top or bottom state. I'm not sure exactly how the application would handle this since you're mapping the thing to a keyboard (maybe the keys 1 through 9 or 0 on the keyboard). Actually, that would be perfect, as you scroll up, the keys cycle up to 9, and as you scroll down, the keys cycle down to 1. But otherwise, it works just as advertised. Great StuffThis software worked wonders for me for playing games which did not have a means for using a joystick. Highly recommended. perfectVery useful tool, I used it as a stick shift for transmission in driving game. My analog joystick isn't very precise, but combination of button and some movement solved my problem with unwanted inputs. Interface is quite simple so it's easy to use this tool. I knew what to do in few seconds, only thing I had to read in documentation is "typematic", documentation is good and understandable. I recommend this tool for everyone... Missing features?Only thing that's missing is movement mapping similar to Firefox functions (move left and then forward...). On the other side this can be difficult with analogue device Very nices!Works real good so I have to give it an excellent! -Mouse emulation: JoystickCursorTool does not really support it, but the JoystickMouseTool (available on the same website) does. You can use both the JoystickCursorTool as well as the JoystickMouseTool in parallel, using the same or a different joystick. Changing between joystick and mouse is not really necessary as you can also use both the real mouse and the JoystickMouseTool emulated one at the same time, they´ll move the same cursor and act with the same buttons being pressed. Maybe an option to toggle the configuration by using a certain button or axis position might be helpful, just have to find out how to make it working reliably without the user beeing able to watch the config dialog. An installer is something which is not necessary - you can start the tool right out of a .zip file or from CD, and I dislike installer bloatware anyway. A new interface - depends on what should be there or what it should look like. Good at what it doesI use this program to map certain keys to my steering wheel whilst playing a certain game that doesn't have full joystick support. It works well, with no problems. Top stuff. My saitek pro gamer stopped working no matter what I did, googled alternatives and this popped up along with others, but this was most reaspomsive AND easiest to use top stuff. joystick cursorI've used this to control the actions of my USB RETRO 8 WAY PRO GAMING USB COMPUTER/PC JOYSTICK but it simply didn't work. It appears that this software only works with recognized analogue joysticks. My logitech wingman works. But this isn't the one I want to use. Social bookmarks: RSS:
